- He graduated from the University of Windsor with a combined Law and MBA degree after having previously completed a Bachelor of Sciences.
- Gary has over 10 years of experience as an entrepreneur during which he has gained valuable experience in marketing, product development, employee management, raising capital and expansion strategies. Furthermore, the entrepreneurial experience has provided Gary with an extensive network of contacts in a variety of industries. Gary has traveled extensively and has conducted business with companies and individuals from over 50 countries. His experiences at Alexa Translations, as well as his academic background complement very well his abilities to interact successfully with individuals of different cultures.
- Gary is highly involved in the community and is currently the President of the Golden Future South Africa Project Board. He has previously sat on the Board of Directors of United Way and was the Chair and founder of the GenNext Committee of United Way Windsor. He was also the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the AIDS Committee of Windsor, and a board member of University of Windsor Board of Governors and Senate.
- In 2009, Gary became the first ever recipient of the Thérèse Casgrain Volunteer Award in the youth category presented by the Federal Government for outstanding contributions to his community. In 2012 he was the winner of the Toronto Board of Trade Business Excellence Award, Windsor-Essex Chamber of Commerce Rising Star Award and the University of Windsor’s Alumni Association Odyssey Award.
