Virtual OSCE® Exam

All dentists who want to practice in Canada must clear the Canadian Board Exams. You can only take this exam if you have graduated from an accredited dentistry program or completed the three NDEB equivalency exams.

These exams consist of two components: a written examination and the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). OSCE is a station-type exam that requires candidates to answer match-type questions within five minutes at each question station.

Each station features information that needs to be reviewed, such as charts, radiographic images, case histories, casts and models. Candidates will also be required to write a prescription based on the information supplied at certain stations. *Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, OSCE may be conducted in a booklet format rather than stations.
